Illustrating Alice in Wonderland

Creating Beautiful Illustrations

A lot of people have commented on how beautiful the artwork is that Desirae Brink creates for us here at Miniville Media. I thought it would be interesting to see how Desirae creates the drawings we put into our apps. I asked her to create a video showing the process she goes through when drawing Alice from our Alice in Wonderland app. So... here it is. A video of her drawing a familiar image!

While you are watching this video keep in mind that this is just one image. Our storybook apps often times have over 100 different images. Each of those images are hand drawn and colored in the same way this video shows Desirae illustrating Alice for our Alice in Wonderland application on iPhone and iPad.

I have also included a screenshot of the actual image in the iPhone application below the video. I hope you enjoy this peek into the creation of a storybook application! :-)
